Staying here was like finding a hidden treasure in a sea of motels. The warm, air-conditioned rooms felt more like a five-star retreat than a simple stay. The bathroom had a shower that could wake up even the sleepiest of souls, with pressure strong enough to remove doubts about morning rituals. On top of that, the location is perfect for an after-dinner stroll to enjoy the mountain air and discover delightful local eateries.
Slow hot water system.

I recently found myself at this place while travelling for business with my brother, and there were definitely some hits and misses. First off, the location was fantastic. Seriously, just a short walk to where we could rent skis and also to a great little restaurant called Stockpot. Made it super convenient after a long day on the slopes. The reception guy was a gem too – really patient with my endless questions. Felt like he genuinely wanted us to have a good stay. The room itself was pretty spacious and the bed was cozy, which was a lifesaver after skiing. I loved that it had good heating, especially considering we were there during a chilly long weekend. But, I have to admit, the bed was a bit on the hard side for my taste. One thing that did bother me a bit was the hot water situation. It took ages for the hot water to kick in, which meant a good amount of water got wasted while I waited for it. And when it finally did arrive, it was great but I just found myself standing there in the cold and that's not ideal after a long day. Oh, the bathroom was mostly clean, but I did spot some soap scum—it was ever so slightly off-putting. There were these little areas of mould in the shower too, which was surprising given how new everything else felt. But at least it had space to move around, and it was definitely modern. We ran into a hiccup where the motel ran out of gas right after we checked in, so we had a cold shower situation looming over us. We caught a bit of warm water, but I can only imagine what it was like the morning after! The staff handled it well though, super apologetic, and even offered us partial refunds, which was nice. On the plus side, there was free Wi-Fi in the room, which was handy for me while I was juggling workstuff. I also appreciated that there was an electric kettle for tea or coffee, but I wish it came with more than just the basic free toiletries. A few more options would’ve been lovely. And the whole place was kept pretty neat, thanks to their solid housekeeping. it’s a decent spot for a quick trip, especially if you’re into skiing and looking for something nearby! My brother and I chatted about coming back if we plan another slopes trip, but I really hope they sort out that hot water issue by then.
